bought this for my son so he could have 2 monitors running on his PC. one monitor being an old VGA that i was going to run from the mother board. Plugged in the BENFEI HDMI to VGA, Gold-Plated Adapter would not work at first was ready to send it back but after deeper research found out you need to turn on the M/B graphics in the bios if you have a graphics card installed. worked perfectly after that.

Les cartes graphiques récentes ont de moins en moins souvent un port graphique VGA, préférant l'HDMI ou le DP. Mais pour les écrans d'un certain âge, qui parfois restent de grande qualité et n'ont pas à rougir de leurs années, c'est tout l'inverse - ils ont rarement les ports "modernes" - bien souvent, ils n'ont que le port VGA ! Ce convertisseur m'a donc permis de relier mon écran HP doté du seul port VGA à ma nouvelle carte graphique NVidia, et c'est complétement transparent - je ne vois aucun parasitage au niveau de l'image. Bref, je recommande ce convertisseur VGA en HDMI.
