Neat compact USB hub on a short lead. I bought it for a specific reason: provide more ports to a Victron Cerbo GX device and it works flawlessly. It's picked up immediately with no "driver installation" required and all subsequent devices were picked up by the Cerbo and work without any issues. The short lead allows easy placement and access to the USB ports which is particularly useful if the USB port on the host device is not that accessible. I've not tested the data speed so cannot comment on how fast it is as a USB 3 hub.

A solid USB hub choice, very slight wiggle at the male end, with little-to-no noticeable wiggle in any of the female ports within the body. Handling three devices with no trouble, connection has been very stable under prolonged use. Being USB-A, some "ultra modernised" laptops or desktop case/motherboard combinations may not work out of the box with it, but this can be fixed by a cheap USB-C male to USB-A female adapter. Once you have a type-A port, installing it is just plugging in a USB cable, very simple. Would've been nice to see a metal housing, but at this price point, it's unsurprising that it's only plastic, so it isn't something that can be held against the company.

One issue I did find was that there are issues with my wireless headphones that use a USB receiver. Not the fault of the UGREEN hub, as in my headphones manual it says that if using a USB hub, it needs to be powered. Overall I would recommend this as long as you are not using it for wireless headphones.
