I thought it’ll be a bit longer than expected but that’s not an issue at all. However, I find that the mic quality significantly changes with the littlest tug or movement of the cable where it’s connected with my headphones. This isn’t a positive thing as I find it very inconvenient to have to constantly turn and move the cable till my mic quality is back to normal. Other than that works perfectly fine and have no other issue!

I have a floor mounted custom Win11 ASUS box which has separate 3.5 mm input & output jacks. I bought an integrated headset with a single jack. Everything works perfectly with this adapter. BTW running 24H2 which apparently (12/2024) has some audio issues. Not on my box.

La presentazione su Amazon di questo cavetto splitter/convertitore della Envel è già di per sè molto chiara e precisa per la destinazione d'uso.Ripropongo però una piccola avvertenza su "cosa converte" per non sbagliare acquisto (rivedere in proposito la "figura" nella presentazione del prodotto): in "ingresso" (lato "presa" o lato "femmina") va inserito solo e soltanto uno spinotto di tipo TRRS (con tre "anelli" di colore nero o anche bianco di solito ) e cioè quello di cuffie o auricolari dotati di microfono ( quelli dello smartphone,tanto per intenderci).Preciso il mio utilizzo : lo spinotto degli auricolari dello smartphone lo inserisco in questo adattatore e poi inserisco i terninali al PC (verde=cuffie;;rosa=microfono);in questo modo evito di usare la classica cuffia dotata di microfono che per me è decisamente molto più ingombrante quando uso ad esempio Skype.
