Life changer! I refuse to use bluetooth headphones (I know, I know...) and since jack inputs no longer exist on iPhones, this is the right gadget for the job. Also great for connecting a mic blocker (tin foil hat anyone?) Very well made, I have taken this with me while travelling, and it is still alive and kicking!

I liked that it worked in my iPhone and I was able to use my earphones. However, not sure if this is an apple fault or not, but the volume button on the earphones does not work, I have to use the volume button on the actual side of the phone, not a catastrophe I suppose.

First time I took my new phone to the gym, discovered I couldn’t connect my Bose headphones without a connector! Chose this one as the apple ones are so flimsy I was worried it would break quickly. This one feels strong, good solid connections, not loose so I’m not worried about it catching and breaking. Sound quality through my headphones appears unchanged which is good and I can still alter the volume using the control on my headphones (just to be clear, the adapter doesn’t come with a volume control). Came nicely packaged. I now keep it permanently connected to my headphones in their case. Price a bit higher than I would have liked but I figured you get what you pay for, hopefully I won’t need to buy a replacement any time soon!
