Bought this for travelling with the Nintendo Switch - works perfectly combined with relatively cheap USB-C power adapter. Really impressed with this, metal case, not plastic, good quality built in cable and just *feels* like a solid product. Has all the ports we need to connect the Switch, no point in having a network port but if you don’t need it then this is a great product at a really good price!

USB-C didn't work for my headset, but looking at it I've noticed it says charging by they port so maybe it's just to charge things? Luckily I have a spare port on my laptop for that. The other ports all work fine, and this is much smaller and lighter than the one my employer provided (much cheaper too!).

It is a great adaptor and works like a charm. The fact that has the charging port sets it above other adaptors I own. Connetivity and fit are great and works well with my S22 as well. Very easy to use and although a bit more expensive than other I think it is of good value . Recommended.

Yes, we all forget the adaptor from USB Q to the HDMI Alpha plus or whatever it is; bought this as an emergency when i forgot my travel adaptors; it works fine, and the USB A mouse/keyboard dongle fits right in, but the mouse behaves in a very skittish manner at times jumping all over the screens. I had a spare USB C males to USB A female crossover, and that solved that problem plugged direct into one of the 267 USB C sockets on the laptop (okay, one of 3, but oh for something other than USB C).

4.5 Stars – Great Device, but Wish It Had a USB-C Option The BENFEI USB-C Hub has been a solid addition to my setup, providing the essential connections I need for my Samsung S23U DeX setup and other devices. It works seamlessly for connecting a portable monitor via HDMI, along with a keyboard and mouse. I originally purchased this hub to use with a Dell 14 Portable Monitor (P1424H), but I ended up returning that monitor because it only supported USB-C/DisplayPort input, and we couldn't find a workable HDMI-to-USB-C adapter. Unfortunately, converting HDMI to USB-C isn’t easily done because it requires specific support for DisplayPort Alt Mode, which most hubs, including this one, don’t offer. One small downside is that this hub doesn’t come with a USB-C output option. While this isn't a huge issue for me, having that option would have made the hub more versatile and avoided some of the frustrations I had with the purchasing/returning headache with the Dell monitor. Despite that, it performs exactly as expected and has been reliable in my daily use. Overall, it’s a great, affordable solution for anyone needing a compact, multi-port Dex hub with HDMI support.
